PhD in semiconductor physics from Tampere University of Technology (TUT). Prior to joining Modulight Petteri held numerous manager positions in international research projects in which he managed relations to international funding companies as well as was the principal scientist in the programs. Since 1997 Petteri has been managing semiconductor sales to multinational companies and acted as a President & CEO of Modulight since incorporating the company in 2000.
Mr. Ville Vilokkinen holds a M.Sc. in semiconductor physics from Tampere University of Technology. Ville has 15 years of experience in semiconductor laser development including epitaxy, processing and characterization. Ville joined Modulight in 2000, from the very first days of the company. Prior to joining Modulight, Ville was a Researcher in Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC) at Tampere University of Technology.
Mr. Sampsa Kuusiluoma holds M.Sc. in electrical engineering and six sigma green belt. Sampsa has over 10 years experience in project management of various type of R&D projects within the fields of reliability, quality, and production technology development. His work has enabled commercialization of new production methods, as well as quality and reliability improvements of existing methodologies. He is also a long-term member of the IEEE CPMT technical committee for accelerated stress testing and reliability and has authored over 50 scientific publications.
Mrs. Anca Guina holds a M.Sc in industrial management from Tampere University of Technology and a B.Sc. in economics from Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. Anca joined Modulight in 2000, from the very first days of the company. Her responsibilities included design and implementation of ERP systems, coordinating marketing efforts and finance. Currently Anca holds a management position being in charge of marketing activities and resource planning.

Mr. Orsila has MBA (2004) from Helsinki School of Economics and Master in semiconductor physics from Tampere University of Technology. He has 20 years of experience in sales, finance, marketing and business management At Modulight he served as CFO and VP Marketing building Modulight's customer base in the western hemisphere, leading marketing globally and being responsible for finance & strategy. Since 2006 Seppo has lead Modulight's board as non-executive Chairman after joining Nokia in August same year. Seppo has wife and 3 children.
Mr. Hubert Jouve has been involved with Modulight since its. He brings to Modulight his 20+ years experience in management and finance of technology companies as well as his experience in semiconductor technology, which dates to the birth of the industry. Hubert has been instrumental in development of various semiconductor-based technologies. His experience spans from magnetic heads for hard disc drives, chemical sensors for automotive industry, to semi-conductor material for telecom integrated circuits. He has been building several businesses with rapid growth from zero up to 500 people.
